Comment Policy

As commenting is something common in the blogosphere, I would like to state a few commenting rules here to avoid abuse and protect the healthy atmosphere for everyone. My aim in writing this comment policy is to appreciate your genuine comments and block spam / other abuses.

Here are a few things that I want you to know about commenting here on my site:

1. I really love and appreciate comments. Feel free to express your ideas and thoughts on my articles using comment forms.

2. I respect differences on opinions. So, it is okay to leave either agreeing or disagreeing comments (or something in between).

3. I do not encourage leaving signatures. As I have provided Name / URL, I do not think signatures are necessary. However, personal moderation will be applied.

4. I do not encourage leaving low quality comments. I normally disapprove such type of comments to keep the discussion healthy, and to avoid the commenter of being embarrassed in public. Example of low quality comments:

  • “Good post.”
  • “Thanks for sharing.”
  • “I agree with you.”

5. I do not tolerate spam, flames, and keyword attempts. I use anti spam plug-ins and apply personal moderation to all comments. These abuses do not appear on the same page as your comments. Definitions:

  • Spam: irrelevant comments, massive linking.
  • Flame: offensive languages, potentially provoking comments.
  • Keywords attempt: not name nor website but keywords.

6. This policy will be updated if necessary.
