Hi there!

My name is Isaac Yassar and I am a part-time blogger who really loves this dynamic activity of blogging.

Back in early 2008, I set up a blog only as an online mark of my existence. I didn’t know it at the time but that moment changed my life. Since then I’ve become a hobby blogger, then grow into a part-time blogger. I had blogged on over 10 blogs before I decided to set up this Go Blogger (dot) net.

Blogging Approach

In blogging, I apply content-is-king strategy. It places valuable content as the core of the system, an effective strategy proven by many successful bloggers. So I try to deliver value as good as I can through my content here. And like the famous 6-figure blogger Steve Pavlina (www.stevepavlina.com) said, the best way to deliver value is by giving it away to people free. He’s right.

I am interested in make money blogging but not too fond of get-rich-quick mindset regarding blog business. Get-rich-slow by learning, hard-working, and persistence is my motto. A true hero stars from zero, that’s what I believe.

In writing my posts, I am currently trying to develop a compact writing style: simple, straight-forward, and concise while still complete, communicative, and deep. The reason is because I am not a native English user so I tend to (and can only) say things in simple English. Another reason is because I get tired easily when reading long posts on other blogs (moreover if they have massive external links). I don’t want my readers to get overwhelmed by such thing. Therefore, this compact style is the perfect solution. However, I’m still developing it, not final yet

Blog Design

To support my simple, compact, and minimalistic style of writing, I love to use simple but stylish and elegant themes. Fortunately, I’ve found what I’m looking for on WooThemes, a masterpiece of the professional Woo designers. I don’t need to tweak it much yet it’s already awesome. I am so happy with it.

Tagline

The tagline of my blog is simple, “Thoughts and Opinions on Blogging“. Here, I merely write my personal thoughts and opinion on blogging, my favorite activity. Actually I have an older tagline, but I changed it. The change of tagline symbolizes the change of my approach. From 100% professional to a humble approach.

That manga-avatar that I got from faceyourmanga.com is very similar to the real me. It is because I always look at my photos when creating it. My daily-life friends know that it represents me very well. I don’t use my real photo because I am not too photogenic so I am usually not satisfied with my photos
