Frugal Theme 3.2 = Super Cool

Hi folks!

My 2009 look FrugalTheme keeps getting better and better. Though I am not currently using frugal here, I am using it on my other site so I’m aware of its development.

Frugal version 3.2 is out and ready to help you create some awesome Wordpress websites! Eric Hamm, the designer, also created a Video/Blog Post that goes over everything, so feel free to check it out now.

Here is some of the notable enhancements:

-Import/Export: Now you can Import and Export ALL your frugal settings for backup, restore, transfer, etc…

-Built-In Image Uploader: No longer do you need to use an FTP program to upload images to your frugal site. With the all new image uploader you can easily upload the images from your computer to your server.

-FULL background control: Now you don’t just have color control of the many background areas in frugal, but are also give image and transparency options.

-frugal Skins: With all these great new design options you’ll be able to pick from a growing list of frugal Skins (some free, some Premium, but very affordable and totally awesome) to quickly and easily customize your frugal website to the look, feel and function you’re going for. -Post Excerpt Thumbnails: With Wordpress 2.9’s new thumbnail option you can easily add thumbnail images to your post excerpts. But how do you control the way they display? Coding? Not with frugal! I’ve added a thumbnail design option that gives you full control over the displaying of these thumbnails images. Control the way they’re re-sized/cropped, aligned, sized, and even bordered.

There are a few more additions, but this covers the big ones.

    Wow ! Great to know about Frugal theme 3.2.Unfortunately I cannot test it as I don’t have wordpress powered blogs.

    Hey Isaac! I was actually looking at it the other night and it looked really cool. I was watching the video of the different things that you can do and it looked awesome. Different skins and things. It looked like you could really customize your blog. Very interesting I have been thinking of a new look lately.

    Yes really excellent theme. No code. what do I want more? :) I see that frugal theme is like Thesis theme. I can say frugal better than Thesis. what do you think?
