Monetized Blogging: Part-time or Full-time?

Money is always attracting a lot of interest from normal people, due to its importance in our life, no? When people is about to start a blog, some of them already have this idea of making money online from blogs, perhaps including you. It is perfectly fine and there is nothing wrong with it.

However, fact says that successful bloggers are usually the full-timers. As obtaining the ability to earn income from blogs takes time, would you starve for a few months first on full-time blogging before getting your first income? Otherwise, are you afraid if you blog as a part-timer you won’t reach success, because you are not devoted maximally?

Well my friend, the answer lies in your condition when you are about to start your blog. If you are new to blogging and haven’t made any money from blogs before, it wise to be a part-timer of blogs first. You can take your time to learn about how it works and build your blog’s reputation gradually. You will also know what it feels like to be a blogger, may be you will like it, like I do. If your talent and hard work is not enough to drive you to your goal eventually, then you still have another part time job as a parachute.

If you know exactly how to make money blogging and having the experience on it, you can straightly take off to the next level: full-time blogger. It means that your job is a professional blogger: you blog for a living and that is your way of life. Getting a good job is not something easy nowadays folks, if you like and can make money from blogging, then you should consider to improve and develop it. After all, it is also a form of business and entrepreneurship, like any other online business, along with the potency to grow huge.

For my friends who asked me about monetized blogging, I suggest you start your blog as a hobby first, as a part-time activity that you love. And slowly but surely you will catch the wave, as long as you are willing to constantly learn. Afterward, you can take it full-time.

  2. Great post. I totally like your post. To be professional blogger, we can start blogging part-time then when we think think that our part-time blogging income is higher that our full time 9-5 work income, we can decite to accelerate our part-time blogging income to become a full-time blogging income. This is what i am doing at the moment.
