How to Add an Icon to WordPress without Coding

Hello mate!
Have you got an icon for your WordPress site? Because by default, WordPress does not provide you with any icon, just that blank paper icon. See? If you are to use a custom icon to replace that blank paper, check this out.
With this method, it is very simple to add an icon lad, no need of coding stuff at all. All you need to do is installing a plugin that will help you in setting up the icon. Let’s get it on, shall we? Here are the steps:
1. Download a plugin named Blog Icons from WordPress Plugin Directory. If you want to read its description first, click here. If you want to directly download it right now, click here.
2. Install it to your WordPress site. You can use your WP dashboard to directly upload the zip file of the plugin. Here is the path: WP dashboard >> Plugins >> Add New.
Otherwise, you can also use manual / old school method: unzip the plugin files and upload them (along with the folder) using FTP to your WordPress storage, to be more specific: wp-contents/plugins/ . Don’t forget to activate it after installing.
3. Visit your WordPress dashboard and set the plugin. Go to Settings >> Blog Icons, and upload your icon. In case you are wondering, an icon usually has a size of 16 x 16 pixels, and this plugin supports png, jpg, gif, and ico files. After everything is ready, saveĀ and done!
Alright, if you’d like to see your new icon right away, make sure you restart your browser first and visit your site. If you use Firefox, don’t forget to show the tabs, because your icon will appear there.
OK, very easy right? I have tested this myself, so I am sure it will work handsomely on your site as well. Feel free to try bro! If you have any question or comment, the comment box is all yours
